An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Employment, Pensions and Immigration team in Birmingham. This role offers a collaborative and forward-thinking environment within a nationally recognised firm, with a strong focus on high-quality client service, professional development, and business growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Advising employer clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters

  • Working with clients across key sectors including health and care (private and NHS), higher education, retail, manufacturing, and automotive

  • Supporting senior lawyers and partners on complex employment law matters

  • Contributing to marketing and business development activities

  • Liaising directly with clients, stakeholders and third-party professionals

  • Ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

  • Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Employment, Pensions and Immigration team

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified solicitor with 1 to 4 years' PQE in employment law

  • Experienced in advising employers across a broad range of employment matters

  • Organised, with excellent communication, drafting, and time management skills

  • A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required

  • Confident engaging with clients and contributing to business development

  • Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop their career in a fast-moving area of law

  • Previous experience working with health and care clients is desirable but not essential
