An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Employment, Pensions and Immigration team in Birmingham. This role offers a collaborative and forward-thinking environment within a nationally recognised firm, with a strong focus on high-quality client service, professional development, and business growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Advising employer clients on a range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters
Working with clients across key sectors including health and care (private and NHS), higher education, retail, manufacturing, and automotive
Supporting senior lawyers and partners on complex employment law matters
Contributing to marketing and business development activities
Liaising directly with clients, stakeholders and third-party professionals
Ensuring compliance with deadlines, quality standards, and regulatory requirements
Collaborating with colleagues across the wider Employment, Pensions and Immigration team
The ideal candidate will be:
A qualified solicitor with 1 to 4 years' PQE in employment law
Experienced in advising employers across a broad range of employment matters
Organised, with excellent communication, drafting, and time management skills
A strong team player with the ability to work independently when required
Confident engaging with clients and contributing to business development
Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop their career in a fast-moving area of law
Previous experience working with health and care clients is desirable but not essential
