We are currently working with a well-regarded firm in North London that is looking for a talented Family Solicitor to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and driven family law professional to take the next step in their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a varied caseload of private family law matters, including financial remedy work (often with international elements), children disputes, and cohabitation issues.

  • Working closely with senior solicitors and partners to deliver high-quality, pragmatic legal advice to clients.

  • Handling pre- and post-nuptial agreements, Schedule 1 cases, relocation matters, and contested probate/Inheritance Act claims.

  • Providing excellent client service, maintaining regular communication, and managing expectations effectively.

  • Supporting billing processes, managing cash flow, and maintaining accurate time recording.

  • Contributing to business development through networking, relationship building, and involvement in professional groups such as Resolution.

  • Working towards personal and departmental targets in line with firm strategy.

The successful candidate:

  • 3-6 years' PQE in private family law.

  • Strong experience handling a broad range of family law matters with minimal supervision.

  • Excellent communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.

  • A client-focused and solution-driven mindset, with a commitment to minimising conflict.

  • A proactive, collaborative team player with strong organisational skills.

  • Commercial awareness and the ability to manage their own caseload efficiently.
