A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Family Solicitor to join a well-established and forward-thinking legal team based in Chelmsford. This role is ideal for a solicitor with 1-5 years' PQE looking to develop their career in a dynamic and modern legal business that values collaboration, autonomy and high standards of client care.

The position offers exposure to a broad range of privately funded family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, children disputes, injunctions and cohabitation issues. You will manage your own caseload and also support senior colleagues on more complex cases.

Key responsibilities will include drafting legal documents, preparing court bundles, and liaising with clients, courts and third parties. You will be expected to deliver practical, compassionate, and commercially sound advice while building strong client relationships. The role also involves participating in business development and networking to help grow the team's local presence.

This is a great chance to join a firm with a modern approach to legal services. With a non-hierarchical structure and a culture that values transparency, development and team contribution, you'll find real opportunities to progress your career. The team works collaboratively across multiple locations and practice areas, offering access to high-quality work and a supportive environment.

In return, you'll receive a competitive salary, strong benefits package, and a clear path for progression. If you're a motivated family solicitor ready to take the next step, this role offers the platform and support to help you thrive.
