Financial Accountant
Location: Staffordshire
Salary: £48,000 - £57,000 per annum (DOE)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid
Sellick Partnership are working with a leading Staffordshire-based education organisation to recruit a driven and detail-focused Financial Accountant. This is a key role within the finance team, with a varied remit covering financial reporting, treasury oversight, and compliance.
About the Role
As Financial Accountant, you will:
Lead on financial reporting and statutory accounts preparation
Oversee cash flow forecasting and working capital management
Manage relationships with key external stakeholders
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies
Support audit processes and year-end requirements
Provide insight and analysis to support strategic decision-making
About You
You will be a CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) with experience in:
Statutory reporting and external audit processes
Treasury or cash flow management
Balance sheet reconciliations and control
Compliance with accounting standards and regulatory frameworks
Advanced Excel and financial systems knowledge
Communicating effectively with finance and non-finance stakeholders
