Head of Finance Delivery
Location: Hybrid working with offices in Spalding, Boston, and Horncastle
Permanent | Full-time
Salary: Up to £68'560
Sellick Partnership are excited to be recruiting for a permanent Head of Finance to join our forward-thinking Public Sector client based in Lincolnshire.
The Role
As Head of Finance, you will:
- Lead the planning and delivery of end-to-end financial management and statutory accounts.
- Be the key liaison between the client and the statutory Section 151 Officers across our client councils.
- Provide strategic financial advice, performance reporting, and budget planning.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, governance, and service level agreements.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in financial service delivery.
- Manage and inspire a team of up to 10 FTEs, promoting a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Deputise for the Chief Finance Officer when required.
What We're Looking For
- Fully qualified CCAB accountant (e.g. CIPFA, CIMA) with evidence of ongoing CPD.
- Proven experience in financial leadership within the public sector or similar complex environments.
- Strong understanding of local government finance, statutory reporting, and budget management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive, strategic thinker with a passion for public service and innovation.
