About the Role:

Sellick Partnership is looking for a Locum Childcare Lawyer to join a large local authority legal team.

This role can be worked remotely, however attendance for court is required.

Key Responsibilities of a Childcare Lawyer:

  • To advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the protection and care of children
  • To competently carry a caseload of public childcare matters
  • To advocate, when necessary, at the Family Court
  • To provide policy advice and specialist Childcare services

Desirable Skills and Requirements of a Childcare Lawyer:

  • Previous experience working in the public sector/local authorities
  • Previous experience handling childcare cases
