We are working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking regional firm seeking a Private Client Senior Associate to join their respected and growing team in Swindon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced private client solicitor to take the next step in their career, working on a varied and high-quality caseload while playing an active role in the development of client relationships and the continued success of the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advising on a wide range of private client matters, including wills, trusts, estate administration, and inheritance tax planning

  • Handling complex and high-value estates, often involving agricultural or business assets

  • Drafting and advising on Lasting Powers of Attorney and deputyship applications

  • Providing succession planning advice to high-net-worth individuals and families

  • Managing client relationships with empathy, discretion, and professionalism

  • Identifying legal and practical risks and advising clients on appropriate strategies

  • Supporting the wider team in business development and marketing initiatives

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in private client law

  • Ideally STEP qualified or working towards accreditation

  • Demonstrates strong technical knowledge with a practical, client-focused approach

  • Comfortable managing complex matters independently while supporting junior team members

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to building lasting client relationships

  • Commercially aware and proactive in contributing to the growth of the department
