Sellick Partnership is working with a respected and long-established law firm who are seeking a skilled Private Client Solicitor to join their growing team, based in either Bolton or Blackburn.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior-level solicitor to take ownership of a high-quality caseload while playing a pivotal role in the continued development and success of the department. The role offers the chance to work with a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and families.
Key Responsibilities:
Handling a varied caseload of private client matters, including:
Trust administration
Probate and estate administration
Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney
Inheritance Tax and complex tax planning advice
Potential Court of Protection work
Advising clients on estate structures, succession planning, and tax-efficient strategies.
Supporting the wider team with complex matters, and mentoring junior staff where required.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, intermediaries, and colleagues.
Contributing to the growth of the department through business development and networking.
About You:
A minimum of 5 years' PQE in Private Client law.
Ideally STEP qualified or working towards accreditation.
Strong technical knowledge and confident handling complex matters independently.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-first approach.
Commercial awareness and a proactive mindset.
A team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative and supportive culture.
