Sellick Partnership is delighted to be working with a well-established and successful law firm seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their respected Private Client Department.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer with a minimum of 2 years' PQE to take on a varied caseload and work within a team dedicated to delivering outstanding client service.

Role Overview:

  • Managing a broad caseload including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estate Administration, and Trusts

  • Advising clients on Inheritance Tax and tax planning matters (experience desirable)

  • Handling the full estate administration process, including probate applications, settling tax liabilities, and setting up trusts

  • Drafting legal documents and managing correspondence

  • Ensuring accurate time costing and adherence to firm procedures

  • Supporting and collaborating with colleagues across the wider Private Client team

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ years PQE in Private Client work

  • Experience managing your own caseload across Wills, Probate, LPAs, and Estate Administration

  • Professional, client-focused approach with excellent communication skills

  • Highly organised and able to work independently using sound judgment

  • Strong IT skills and familiarity with document management systems

  • STEP qualification desirable but not essential
