Sellick Partnership is working with a highly regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join their growing and collaborative team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career solicitor to gain hands-on experience across a broad range of private client matters. You'll be joining a supportive environment where you'll work closely with senior lawyers and develop your technical expertise with high-quality clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a varied caseload under supervision, including:
Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney
Probate and estate administration
Inheritance tax planning and trusts
Potential exposure to Court of Protection work
Supporting senior solicitors on complex files
Providing a high standard of client care and communication
Assisting with marketing and business development initiatives
Building strong working relationships with clients and intermediaries
About You:
Qualified Solicitor (0-3 years' PQE) with private client experience
Strong technical grounding and willingness to learn
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Client-focused, well-organised, and proactive
STEP qualification (or interest in pursuing it) is an advantage
