A highly regarded Legal 500 full-service firm with a strong regional and national presence is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join its growing team in Chester. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a respected practice as it expands its footprint in the region, offering high-quality work and genuine career progression.

The firm is known for delivering exceptional client service and handling a broad range of private client matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, and business owners. You'll manage a varied caseload covering Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Estate Administration, with opportunities to develop expertise in tax and succession planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Advising clients on Wills, Probate, LPAs, Trusts, and Administration of Estates

  • Drafting and reviewing wills, trust deeds, and related legal documents

  • Managing estate administration, including tax and inheritance matters

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Staying current with legislative changes and best practices

  • Supporting business development and networking initiatives

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 2+ years' PQE in private client work

  • Strong experience across wills, probate, and estate administration

  • Excellent client-handling, drafting, and communication skills

  • Well-organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities

  • STEP or SFE accreditation desirable but not essential
