We're working with a leading law firm who are seeking an experienced Administrator / Secretary to join their busy Commercial Real Estate Team in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational and communication skills looking to develop their career within a professional and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will support fee earners with all aspects of administration, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the team. Ideally, you'll be office-based four days a week, with some flexibility available.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing and formatting correspondence, documents, and completion statements

  • Managing diaries, emails, and client communications

  • Submitting Land Registry and SDLT applications

  • Assisting with billing and basic finance tasks

  • Handling incoming calls and enquiries

  • Providing general administrative and secretarial support

Experience / Skills Required

  • Minimum 1 year's experience as an Administrator or Secretary (legal or professional services environment preferred)

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Confident communicator with strong attention to detail

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using IT systems

  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Desirable:

  • Experience within property or real estate

  • Knowledge of HMLR and SDLT processes
