Senior Commercial Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established and respected law firm in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Solicitor to join their busy and collaborative commercial team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor to manage a diverse and complex caseload, lead commercial transactions, and contribute to the growth and success of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handling a varied caseload of complex commercial matters, including:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts and agreements

  • Advising clients on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and transactional work

  • Leading due diligence exercises and managing commercial transactions

  • Providing strategic, commercially focused legal advice

  • Managing and mentoring junior team members

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships

  • Contributing to business development and networking initiatives

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in commercial law

• Proven experience managing complex commercial transactions and advising clients effectively

• Strong negotiation and drafting skills

• Excellent client management and communication abilities

• Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior colleagues

• Commercially minded, proactive, and business development focused

• Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
