Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established law firm in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Employment Solicitor to join their busy and supportive employment team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior solicitor to manage a complex caseload, provide expert advice, and play a key role in leading the team's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a varied caseload of complex employment law matters, including:
Advising on contentious and non-contentious issues such as contracts, disciplinary and grievance procedures, TUPE, redundancy, and settlement agreements
Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and hearings
Providing strategic, commercial advice to a diverse client base
Leading and mentoring junior team members
Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Driving business development and networking initiatives
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in employment law
Proven experience managing complex employment matters and tribunal claims
Strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Excellent client relationship and communication abilities
Leadership experience and ability to mentor junior colleagues
Commercially minded, proactive, and business development focused
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
