Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join their thriving family law team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor to manage a complex and varied caseload, lead on high-value family law matters, and play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a diverse caseload of complex family law matters, including:
Divorce and separation
Financial remedy and high-net-worth settlements
Private law children cases
Pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation disputes
International jurisdiction matters
Providing expert, commercially aware advice with a focus on excellent client care
Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team
Building and maintaining strong client and intermediary relationships
Contributing to business development and networking activities
Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments
About You:
Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in family law
Proven experience handling complex and high-value family law cases
Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client management skills
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
Commercially minded and proactive in business development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
