Senior Family Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join their thriving family law team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior solicitor to manage a complex and varied caseload, lead on high-value family law matters, and play a key role in mentoring junior team members and contributing to business development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a diverse caseload of complex family law matters, including:

  • Divorce and separation

  • Financial remedy and high-net-worth settlements

  • Private law children cases

  • Pre- and post-nuptial agreements and cohabitation disputes

  • International jurisdiction matters

• Providing expert, commercially aware advice with a focus on excellent client care

• Supervising and mentoring junior lawyers within the team

• Building and maintaining strong client and intermediary relationships

• Contributing to business development and networking activities

• Collaborating effectively with colleagues across departments

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in family law

• Proven experience handling complex and high-value family law cases

• Strong negotiation, advocacy, and client management skills

• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability

• Commercially minded and proactive in business development

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
