A leading Legal 500 full-service firm with a strong regional reputation is seeking an experienced Senior Family Solicitor to join its highly regarded Family Law team in Manchester. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well-established and respected practice known for its empathetic client care, technical expertise, and supportive culture.
The team handles a wide range of complex family law matters, including divorce, financial remedies, private children disputes, and cohabitation matters. You'll play a senior role within a collaborative and high-performing team that places client relationships and quality of service at the heart of everything it does.
Responsibilities:
Manage a broad caseload of private family law matters, including divorce, finances, and children issues
Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients
Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to a positive and collaborative culture
Build strong client relationships based on trust, empathy, and professionalism
Participate in networking and business development to strengthen the department's profile
Requirements:
Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in family law
Strong technical knowledge across all aspects of private family work
Excellent communication and client-handling skills
Proactive, empathetic, and commercially minded approach
Experience mentoring or supervising junior colleagues desirable
