Senior Private Client Solicitor

Sellick Partnership is working with a highly regarded law firm in Manchester, seeking an experienced Senior Private Client Solicitor to join their well-respected and expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a senior-level solicitor to take ownership of a high-quality caseload, contribute to the continued growth of the department, and play a key role in mentoring junior colleagues. The firm has a strong reputation for private client work and offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment with genuine progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a complex and varied caseload including:

  • Probate and estate administration

  • Drafting wills and lasting powers of attorney

  • Inheritance tax and succession planning

  • Trust creation and administration

  • Potential Court of Protection matters

• Providing clear, strategic advice to a broad client base, including high-net-worth individuals and families

• Supporting and mentoring junior solicitors and team members

• Maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and communication

• Playing an active role in business development, networking, and departmental growth

About You:

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years' PQE in Private Client law

• Strong technical expertise and experience managing complex and high-value matters

• Excellent client care skills and a commercial approach to advice

• Confident in supervising others and contributing to team development

• STEP qualified or working towards accreditation is desirable

• Proactive, professional, and collaborative in working style
