We're working with a forward-thinking housing provider committed to delivering safe, affordable homes and excellent customer service. As part of their transformation journey, they're seeking a Stock Condition Surveyor to support property inspections and ensure homes meet high standards.

Stock Condition Surveyor (Temporary - £31.51/hr Umbrella)

Covering locations Camberley, Kent, and Surrey Heath
Temporary (3-6 months)
Pay Rate: £31.51 per hour (via umbrella)
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm)
Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct 6-8 stock condition surveys per day across the South region.
  • Assess property components, reset lifespans, and identify repair needs.
  • Upload survey data and update internal systems (ActiveH).
  • Ensure properties meet the Empty Homes standard.
  • Plan routes efficiently to maximise productivity.

Requirements

  • HNC in Building or equivalent experience in maintenance/construction.
  • Knowledge of Schedule of Rates.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to interpret building legislation and use property management software.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Basic DBS check required.
