Sellick Partnership is proud to announce another record-breaking financial year, with turnover reaching almost £120 million - an increase of more than £4 million from the previous year.

With headquarters in Manchester and offices in Liverpool, Leeds, Newcastle, Derby and Birmingham, we’ve continued to grow across all our core specialisms despite an ever-changing economic climate. Our latest results show continued strength in permanent recruitment, maintaining performance at around £3 million, while our temporary recruitment offering delivered exceptional results, growing from £111 million in 2023 to over £116 million in 2024.

This continued growth reflects our resilience and adaptability in a competitive market, and our commitment to building long-term partnerships that deliver results.

Hannah Cottam, CEO, said: "Despite clear challenges in the wider economic landscape and changes within the recruitment market, 2024 has proven to be another hugely successful year for us.

"We’ve stayed focused on our clients and our people, investing in the areas that matter most. That includes infrastructure, in-house training, DEI, wellbeing initiatives and commercial agility — particularly in our temporary recruitment services."

A year of investment, recognition and strategic growth

We’re incredibly proud that 2024 also saw us retain our position as one of the UK’s Best Workplaces™ by Great Place to Work®, as well as achieving Investors in People Gold re-accreditation. We were further recognised for our work on wellbeing and supporting women in the workplace - a testament to the culture we’ve built and continue to protect as we grow.

Hannah added: "What truly sets us apart is our people. Their passion, drive and professionalism continue to elevate our service. And we’re always grateful to our loyal clients and candidates who choose to work with us time and time again, your trust and collaboration mean everything.”

Looking ahead

This year also saw the official opening of our Birmingham office, further strengthening our national footprint. Looking to the future, we remain focused on strategic growth and are actively exploring the acquisition of a like-minded business in the South East to complement our presence in London and extend our offering across the professional services market.

Hannah said. “It’s not just about growing for the sake of growth - it’s about strengthening the exceptional, tailored service our clients expect from us. Any acquisition we pursue will need to align with our values and ambition."
