Banking Paralegal

Location: London, Reading, or Birmingham (Hybrid - 50/50 office and home working)
Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Banking Paralegal to join a leading international law firm known for its high-quality work, collaborative culture, and commitment to professional development.

This role offers the chance to work across a variety of banking and finance matters, supporting major lenders, investors, and corporate clients on a mix of domestic and cross-border transactions. You'll be part of a team that values initiative, precision, and excellent client service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation and management of transaction documents and client onboarding processes.

  • Coordinate conditions precedent and completion deliverables.

  • Support fee earners in managing deal timelines and document execution.

  • Review and proofread legal documents to ensure accuracy and consistency.

  • Handle administrative and organisational aspects of transactions, including payment instructions and billing.

About You:

  • Previous experience working in a Banking & Finance or Commercial Property team (property finance experience beneficial).

  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

  • Confident communicator with a professional approach to client interaction.

  • Team-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

  • IT proficient with strong document management and Microsoft Office skills.

This position would suit a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal who is confident handling transactional work and looking to build their experience within a respected, forward-thinking firm.
