Location: Birmingham - B6 Postcode

Type: Temp - 6 months

Hours: Full Time

Salary: £12-£13ph plus holiday pay

Sellick Partnership are seeking a Business Support Administrator for our Public Sector client in Birmingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Business Support Administrator who is willing to support our client's purposeful movement that brings about positive sustainable change in people's lives.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide high quality business support services to internal/external customers
  • Organise meetings and events
  • Support and document meetings (which could include sensitive situations) in the appropriate manner producing outputs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain general reception duties providing frontline customer response service and resolving basic queries.
  • Take clear messages via telephone and/or email and passing them on effectively.
  • Undertake a range of predefined routine administrative tasks.
  • Administer business processes and systems ensuring accuracy and timely outcomes.
  • Securely maintain complex data accurately including provision of routine management information.
  • Maintain filing systems, entering and retrieving information from electronic databases.
  • Receive, sort and distribute incoming/outgoing post.
  • Undertake a range of financial administrative tasks in accordance with relevant procedures.
  • Check and monitor office equipment bringing any issues to the attention of the supervisor.

Key skills:

  • Attention to detail with an ability to work accurately e.g. literacy and numeracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative with a pro-active approach to all tasks to ensure business objectives are met
  • An ability to work flexibly as part of a diverse team environment, providing cover when needed to ensure continuity of service provision, and the ability to multi-task to cover other roles within the team
  • Experience of working in a pressured environment, dealing with several conflicting and changing priorities effectively, to achieve business objectives
  • Good understanding of Microsoft packages
