Central London

Data Architect required to join a premier public sector organisation in Central London. My client is looking for an enthusiastic individual who has previous data architecture experience to join their dynamic team and contribute to the wider digital transformation programme. Reshaping and designing a future-state architecture that aligns with my client's organisational goals and planning processes.

Key responsibilities of the Data Architect

  • Collaborate with the Town Planning function to gain insights into operational processes and how data is currently being handled
  • Analyse and reconstruct the existing physical data structure of the IDOX Uniform platform.
  • Develop future-state conceptual and physical data frameworks that embody optimal business operations.
  • Assemble a detailed and well-organised data catalogue and dictionary.
  • Identify and document points of system integration and the flow of data between platforms.
  • Chart the lifecycle of data within the organisation and contribute to the setup of Role-Based Access Controls (RBAC).
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that data solutions are fit for purpose and aligned with strategic goals.

Required skills and experience of the Data Architect

  • Demonstrated expertise in building data models, including dimensional and data vault methodologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of how systems interconnect and how data is transferred between them.
  • Hands-on experience in mapping business processes and shaping data models to support them.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations effectively.
  • Capable of thriving both autonomously and within a team in a flexible working environment.
