Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a well-regarded Legal 500 firm who are looking for a Family Associate to join their team in Norwich.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with all members of the family law team to gain a broad understanding of practice areas and case management.

  • Support ongoing matters involving both financial and children-related issues.

  • Gradually develop and manage an independent caseload with a focus on financial remedy and child arrangements.

  • Engage in client meetings, attend court hearings, and contribute to case strategy under supervision, with a view to increasing autonomy over time.

  • Maintain high professional standards and a commitment to delivering client-focused legal services.

The successful candidate:

  • 2 + years' PQE with strong family law training and experience, ideally gained at a large regional or City firm.
  • Strong academic background, with excellent written English and legal drafting skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for family law, with ambition to develop a broad caseload involving both financial and children-related matters.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality, client-focused legal services.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients, potential clients, and professional referrers.
  • Excellent time management, organisation, and attention to detail.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, including confident use of online legal resources.
  • High level of IT literacy, including familiarity with legal software and Microsoft Office.
