Legal Director - Contentious Construction
Top 20 International Law Firm | London, Guildford or Southampton | Hybrid Working

We are currently supporting the expansion of a contentious construction team at a Top 20 international law firm renowned for its high-profile work, global reach, and collaborative culture. This role would involve building up a practice, so it would be a fantastic opportunity for those who want to make something their own.

The firm is now looking to appoint a Senior Associate or Legal Director to join its well-established contentious construction team, with flexibility to be based in either the London, Guildford or Southampton office.

As Legal Director, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex, high-value construction disputes, acting for a mix of developers, contractors, consultants, and public sector bodies. You will be involved in a variety of contentious matters, including:

  • Litigation (TCC and other courts)

  • International and domestic arbitration

  • Adjudication, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution

  • Strategic risk management and dispute avoidance

You'll also have the opportunity to support the wider construction and infrastructure practice on cross-border matters, contributing to thought leadership and mentoring junior team members.

About You:
