As the Liverpool office continues to grow, last week saw a further addition to our team. Alice Cresswell-Hogg has joined us on an apprenticeship scheme and will be assisting in providing administrative support to the Liverpool team.
Alice has recently completed her A-Levels and, whilst she has undertaken some Saturday work at a dental practice, joining Sellick Partnership is her first step into full time work. Alice impressed us at interview in several ways including her ability to show that she had prepared for her interview - she had visited our company website and also spoken to one of her teachers about the recruitment industry.
She was also able to demonstrate some of the key attributes that are needed to work in a highly competitive and challenging yet very rewarding industry. Alice's positive attitude and personality also shone through.
Apprenticeships give people the opportunity to work for an employer, earn a salary as well as gaining a qualification and getting valuable workplace skills and experience.
During her apprenticeship with us, Alice will receive ongoing tailored training for her role as well as attending our new starters' day, social media training and learning about the industry we work in. She will also be undertaking her NVQ Level 2 in administration, which includes attending off-site training days at the Liverpool Chamber of Commerce.
The culture here at Sellick Partnership is an extremely supportive one and this is something that really stood out for me when I first started with the company. This supportive culture together with our vision and values - 'Passionate, Respected, Engaging' - defines and differentiates us as a business.
We know that this apprenticeship will provide the opportunity for Alice to put the skills she will be learning into practice as well as enhancing her work experience. As an Investor in People, Sellick Partnership is demonstrating our commitment and investment to people like Alice who are making their first steps into the workplace as well as contributing to the local community and economy.
