Does success lead to more success?
The answer to this question I believe is YES, particularly in recruitment and in our roles as recruitment consultants. At the beginning of my career, everyone would say once you make your first successful placement, then that is key and you should be on a roll.
Obviously there are always good and bad days, but genuinely I do feel that once you have achieved success in one shape or form, this does then make you more confident and want to make it happen again and again.
I decided to look into this more to see if there is actually a formula for success and to be able to make it happen.
Here's what I found, so I thought would be good to share it and maybe even give it a try and see if it works:
The Success Formula
Success = You (your strengths and qualities) + Change / challenge (your drive to learn and develop) + Postivity (positive attitudes and beliefs)
I agree with all these 3 things; you need to be able to make success happen and there needs to be a reason to motivate you to achieve success, so if you don't have one, change this or set yourself a challenge. Then there is positivity, all successful people believe in themselves and the rightness of what they do.
Why don't you give this a try and tell us if it works. We would love to hear your success stories in the comments box below.
