Manchester Professionals’ Cricket League (MPCL)
Over the years we have managed to raise tens of thousands of pounds for the charities close to our heart – St Ann’s Hospice and the Lord’s Taverners. This is an incredible achievement that would not have been possible without your continued support.
We are looking forward to great sportsmanship and comradery amongst teams on the pitch again this year. It is all thanks to the teams who have committed to participating over the years - your support of the MPCL and ongoing contributions to these special charities really does make a huge difference.
To quote one of the world's greatest all-rounders, Ian Botham:

As always, we feel that it is vital to revisit the objectives that we set when we launched the MPCL and I am delighted to confirm that we have managed to meet them so far including:
- Promoting cricket as a sport.
- Providing a platform for networking across the Greater Manchester business community.
- Raising funds for the important work our chosen charities do.

Since our formation in 2002 we have worked with local and national charities to raise vital funds. We help people find their dream career every day, but also recognise that it is equally as important to help others and support the communities we are a part of.
Community sports
We actively support the community through a number of sporting initiatives across the UK which include a cricket and a football league, two established football tournaments and a range of fundraising activities organised by our regional offices.
