Culture is of huge importance to Jo Sellick and the Board, and although this is largely an internal consideration, it is reflected in everything we do as a business.

Sellick Partnership is now a much larger company than it was a few years ago but the business still has a ‘family’ feel to it.​











Over the years our culture has evolved, but our values (Respected, Passionate, Engaging) have always remained at the core to ensure consistency. These values are not just words; they actually mean something to us, and they are clearly visible in our business activities.

The culture of Sellick Partnership is very much one of open doors and communication is encouraged from all employees whatever their level within the business. We thrive on new ideas and always want to hear people’s experiences – whether it is a policy that their previous employer had in place, or a new initiative they feel would fit with our culture and values.

Our open plan, open door policy is in place to encourage everyone in the business to have a voice, and to really deliver a culture of transparency. As we grow, we recognise that effective communication across the business will become more challenging and we are always identifying smarter ways of working to help continuously improve our culture. 

We have a natural sales environment which is made up of highly successful teams that we empower to make commercial decisions, and to push themselves to succeed. This is all reflected in the way we work with our clients and candidates. We are not ‘pushy’ and we genuinely work hard to make a difference.

Our aim is to provide more than just a recruitment service, but to also really add value to our candidates and clients at every level, and ultimately we believe that our people are the key to our success in making this happen.
