Clinical Negligence Solicitor

A Clinical Negligence Solicitor is required to join a Legal 500 Law Firm based in Bristol on a full-time permanent basis. This is an opportunity for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor to become a member of an established law firm that upholds its reputation for providing exceptional service to its clientele.

Title: Clinical Negligence Solicitor

Salary: £50,000 - £70,000 DOE

Contract: Full-time permanent, Hybrid/Flexible working

Location: Bristol

Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Negligence Solicitor:

• Manage a caseload of clinical negligence claims from initial enquiry to resolution.
• Investigate claims involving medical errors, misdiagnosis, surgical mistakes, or delayed treatment.
• Liaise with clients, medical experts, and counsel to build strong cases.
• Assess medical records and evidence to determine liability and damages.
• Draft legal documents, including letters of claim and court pleadings.
• Negotiate settlements or represent clients in court proceedings.
• Provide clear, compassionate advice to clients throughout the legal process.
• Stay updated on relevant case law and NHS procedures.

Desirable Skills and Requirements of the Clinical Negligence Solicitor:

• 2 + years PQE in Clinical Negligence law.
• Be able to handle own cases from start to finish.
• Take a client-focused approach to every case.
• Demonstrate the enthusiasm and ambition to develop their career.
• Be able to work as part of a fun, friendly, and dynamic team.
