Contracts Lawyer

Part-time 2-3 days per week (22 hours)

Salary: £50 - 55 per hour umbrella (Locum / Interim)

Location: South East

Working: Remote

About the Contracts Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are proud to be working with a fantastic and expanding public sector organisation in the South East who are looking to recruit a part-time locum contracts lawyer (22 hours per weeK) on an initial 6-month basis with the strong likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities of the Contracts Lawyer role:

We are looking for 3+ years' recent experience dealing with the following matters:

  • Advising on procurement and contract law and procedure
  • Drafting/amending draft contracts
  • Advising on and drafting grant agreements
  • Advising on and recommending amendments to Contract Procedure Rules
  • Commenting on reports
  • Working with our Procurement Officer and relevant client service area lead officers
  • Developing templates and implementing good practices throughout the Council on Procurement and Contracts

The role will be a remote working arrangement.
