We are currently working with a Top 100 law firm in Oxford that is looking for a talented Private Client Partner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced Private Client law professional to join an expanding and supportive team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Handle your own workload smoothly and productively, ensuring it brings in solid returns. Oversee less experienced colleagues to make sure they stay on top of file handling and logging their hours.

  • Take charge of the most demanding legal cases, acting as a trusted authority in your specialty.

  • Grow your client base by exploring new industries or deepening your presence in current markets.

  • Share expert insights-such as articles, presentations, or commentary-based on legal shifts or industry developments to bring in fresh business.

  • Guide your team by setting clear, achievable goals and offering the tools and encouragement needed to meet them.

  • Keep a close eye on how your team is performing and step in to improve results when needed.

  • Invest in your own leadership skills and help others build theirs. Represent the firm's values both inside and outside the organization. Get involved in company-wide initiatives.

  • Take ownership of team output, making sure financial targets and quality standards are met. Use data and reports to track progress and spot areas for improvement.

  • Maximise profit by understanding how services are priced, and manage time, costs, and billing effectively for yourself and your team.

The successful candidate:

  • 8 + years PQE in Private Client Law as a Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive.
  • Qualified STEP.
  • Excellent at building client relationships and explaining legal matters clearly.
  • Able to manage a diverse caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Business-minded with a proactive approach to development and growth.
  • Flexible, solution-oriented, and strong at problem-solving.
