Role: Finance Officer

Type: Interim - 6 months

Salary: £20 to £25 per hour umbrella

Hybrid, 1 day a week in the office

Location: South West

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Finance Officer for our Public Sector client to join their Management Accounting team, the candidate will have strong communication skills, experience of Excel and preferably SAP.

Key responsibilities for the Finance Officer are;

  • Working with the Management Accounting team
  • Providing Financial support to the Budget Holders
  • Assisting and challenging managers in a difficult Financial environment
  • Support on Financial planning
  • Using Financial systems and spreadsheets.

The Ideal candidate for the Finance Officer will have;

  • AAT Qualified or Equivalent Qualification
  • Local Government Finance experience is preferable
  • Management Accounting experience is essential
  • Supporting Budget Holders experience
  • Stakeholder Management experience
  • Strong IT and Communication Skills.
