About the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

Are you a housing lawyer wanting to work in a local authority setting? An Exciting opportunity has arisen for housing litigation solicitors to join an established local authority in the East of England on a locum basis for 3 months + and on a full-time or part-time basis.

Responsibilities of the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

As a Housing Litigation Solicitor, there will be a variety of matters to handle including housing disrepair, homelessness, planning Enforcement, Judicial Reviews, breach of injunction, anti-social behaviour, and licensing.

For the most part as a locum housing litigation lawyer, you will be expected to:

  • Have a strong understanding and experience in a civil caseload
  • Work autonomously on housing matters, in particular; possession claims, injunctions, and disrepair matters

Experience required for the Housing Litigation Lawyer role:

Candidates from Private practice and Housing associations are encouraged to apply as the client is open and flexible in their recruitment process.

Our Client will consider newly qualified solicitors although it is beneficial but not entirely necessary to have an experienced background in a local authority setting.
