A Marketing Assistant is required to join an established Marketing team at Sellick Partnership in their Manchester based head office.

Sellick Partnership is a market-leading professional services recruitment specialist with six offices nationwide. This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team.

No two days will be the same for the successful Marketing Assistant - this is a really varied role with the opportunity to get involved in lots of different of marketing activities and projects.

This is a junior role with the opportunity to learn from an experienced team (some of whom started at this junior level initially!). The Marketing Assistant position would be perfect for someone with strong project and time management skills, fantastic attention to detail and a keen interest in a career in marketing.

Marketing Assistant role responsibilities

  • Create templated marketing materials for Consultants, social media, events, internal use and other marketing activities.
  • Make content updates to the Sellick Partnership website including updating page content and uploading blogs.
  • Create and schedule social media posts in Sprout Social.
  • Assist with advertising and job board management.
  • Assist with the organisation of events and conferences including ordering and packing materials, booking couriers, hotels and travel arrangements.
  • Assist with marketing campaigns across the team as and when required.
  • Competitor and market research across all areas of marketing including website, social media, events, awards and accreditations etc.
  • Facilitate corporate photography across all the offices.
  • Create reports on job board and advertising platform usage, website and social media performance and other channels as and when required.
  • Print collateral/putting together packs for client/candidate meetings.
  • Additional ad-hoc support for the wider marketing team as and when required.

Marketing Assistant desired skills and abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as independently.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Good working knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social channels.
  • Previous experience of Canva would be ideal but is not essential.
