Sellick Partnership have been engaged to recuit a Group Payroll Manager for a global business based in Warrington. This is a forward thinking role where you will have the opportunity to shape the payroll team as well as implementing new processes and procedures across the payroll department.

You will have full ownership and responsibiltiy of the review of current processes, understand the need and areas for improvement and ensure developments are in the line in increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the payroll processing.

You will work closely with the FC and the wider Senior Leadership Team to understand which processes need improving urgently to ensure your team can carry out their payroll duties accurately.

My client is looking for a true leader who excels at bringing people with you in a collaborative style whilst motivating and empowering your team to succeed.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing the payroll processes for multiple entities
  • Automate processes where possible
  • Implement and drive improvements across the department
  • Lead the team to deliver accurate and effective payroll system
  • Work collaboratively to coach and influence your team

The Person:

  • Have a senior payroll background
  • Experience delivering on projects
  • Leading and managing a team to success
  • Solid understanding of payroll systems
  • Long term vision and ability to see bigger picture
