About the Commercial Lawyer role:

Sellick Partnership is currently working with a well established Local Authority in the East Midlands that are seeking a qualified Lawyer on a permanent and full-time basis to join the team for an exciting opportunity.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with initiative, a proactive approach to problem solving and a real commitment to the job. This is a great opportunity to join a tightknit, friendly team and grow and develop your experience across a variety of areas of law with an emphasis on commercial property and contracts, supporting and learning from some superb senior solicitors.

The successful Commercial Lawyer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Supporting the legal team as required, including advice,drafting in areas including, but not limited to, contracts, property and general local government law.
  • Grant agreements
  • Supporting the Head of Legal and Support Services and Legal Services Team Manager

Experience required for the Commercial Lawyer role:
