Senior Housing Lawyer

Sellick Partnership are working with a London Borough Council to recruit to a Senior Housing Litigation Lawyer opportunity.

This role will be offered on a locum basis for an initial period of 3 months, with strong likelihood of extensions. You will attend their London-based offices or courts 2 days per week and will receive an umbrella rate of £40 - £55 umbrella, dependent on experience.

This role involves basic advocacy in courts as well as handling a busy caseload of the below housing litigation matters:

• Possession claims
• Disrepair claims
• Anti-social behaviour
• Homelessness

To be successful, you will be a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or CILEx with extensive experience handling the matters outlined above either from within a local government or public sector setting, but applications from those with a private practice background may be considered.
