Flexible working

Childcare Lawyer is required to join a local authority based in the Home Counties on a permanent basis. Sellick Partnership has been instructed exclusively to assist a local authority with the recruitment of a permanent Childcare Lawyer to join this legal services team.

As the Childcare Lawyer, you will;

- Undertake a caseload of public childcare matters to include around 10-12 care proceeding cases

- Advocacy is optional, those wanting to undertake some advocacy is encouraged however they can instruct counsel where necessary

- You will work in a small and friendly team and have support from 1 paralegal which is shared between 2/3 lawyers

- Be able to work mainly on a remote working basis however they are keen for candidates to be able to attend court in person should you be undertaking advocacy and be able to attend the office for a team meeting once a month or when required
