A Wordings Specialist is required to join a leading insurance company which is recognised for Business Insurance and Home Insurance based in London. As the Wordings Specialist, you will be joining a highly reputable insurance company which pride themselves on their diverse range of customers whilst providing a tailored service to adapt to their customers needs.
About the Wordings Specialist Role:
- Work with numerous arms of the business to provide legal advice to the development of new products and maintaining existing products and services
- Undertaking a range of commercial matters which will include drafting and negotiating marketing materials, policy wordings and online quote and buy journeys
- Ensuring all policy compliance is met in line with up to date legislation
- Assisting various departments with related product queries
- Undertake a variety of matters in relation to other regulatory and legal projects
- Developing and implementing new wordings, coverage enhancements and endorsements for Commercial and Personal lines
- Opportunity to work across all areas of the business to include Professions, Commercial and Personal Lines and products across direct, broker and e-trade channels.
As the Wordings Specialist you will:
- Work in an established and dynamic team with excellent working relationships across the business
- Have the opportunity to develop experience within a breadth of different departments and products across direct, broker and e-trade channels.
- Have the ability to work autonomously and part of a wider team, working collaboratively across the business
- Be a Qualified lawyer or Wordings Specialist ideally with a background in the insurance industry either in-house or within private practice.
- Strong understanding of matters within insurance & contract law and financial services regulation (Competition law and Data Protection is desirable)
