Our client, an award-winning law firm in Leeds City Centre, is seeking an experienced Senior or Principal Associate to join their team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading legal practice that is dedicated to providing high-quality legal advice and exceptional client service.

The team

The employment team provides clients across a range of sectors including automotive, manufacturing, logistics, infrastructure, technology and retail with both contentious and non-contentious advice. This includes matters such as TUPE matters, employment tribunal claims, senior executive contracts, dismissals and employment aspects of corporate transactions etc.

The team is widely respected for providing an excellent service and delivering pragmatic and timely legal advice to its highly regarded client base. It's an ambitious, collaborative unit with a flair for client engagement.

They also have specialists in advocacy, corporate work and business immigration.

The role

  • Advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of employment law and other HR related matters including contracts of employment, service agreements, employee handbooks, internal policies and procedures, discipline and grievance, redundancy, restructuring, sickness absence, family friendly rights, equality and diversity, settlement agreements, trade union and collective issues and transfer or undertakings.
  • Drafting and advising on contracts of employment and HR policies and procedures.
  • Advising on employment status and types of working arrangements.
  • Assist with the firms business development strategies.
  • Build client relationships.
  • Supervising junior members of the team.
