Sellick Partnership are delighted to be supporting an excellent client of ours in their search for an Assistant Director and Monitoring officer to join a local authority. The role will be for a minimum period of atleast 4 months but with the liklihood of extension.
Our client is looking for someone who can assist with the following:
- Maintaining the highest standards of local democracy
- Advising on the constitution, the standards regime, codes of conduct
- To establish and be accountable for the legal and governance frameworks
- Oversee a wide range of sensitive and high-profile cases
- Governance and DMO advice
This role is suitable for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with Monitoring Officer Experience or Deputy Monitoring Officer Experience wanting to step up gained within Local Government.
